Chapter four: The Next Day

"Wake up, Elizabeth!" Sammy yelled.

"What?" Elizabeth replied sleepily.

"Blue Skye and Cloud are downstairs, they made breakfast!" Sammy said.

"What! Cool!" Elizabeth said.

She was starving, no, famished! Sammy and Elizabeth headed downstairs and into the kitchen. They saw pancakes, scrambled eggs, french toast, bagels, and bacon all on the dining room table.

"Wow! That looks delicious, you guys!" Elizabeth exclaimed.

Sammy, Elizabeth, Blue Skye, and Cloud all sat down around the dining
room table.

"You may dig in!" Cloud said.

They all started eating the eggs,
french toast, pancakes, bacon, and bagels. "Not only does it look delicious,
Cloud, but it tastes delicious, too!" Sammy said as she ate.

"Now that everybody is done eating," Cloud said. "I have something to say.
Today we are going to go defeat The Ruler!" Cloud yelled.

"What!" Sammy and Elizabeth said in unison.

"Yes, it is true. We are going to the Clouds to defeat the Ruler, to save the world." Blue Skye said shyly.

"Can you go get the backpacks, Sammy?" Cloud said.

Sammy looked around the room. "Where are they?" She said.

Cloud pointed to the left corner. Sammy walked to where Cloud was pointing, picked up the four backpacks, and walked back over the Elizabeth.

"Let's go!" said Cloud.

All four of them headed out the door and to the park where the Cloud was floating today.

"Hey, Cloud?" Elizabeth asked.

"Hmm?" said Cloud.

"How will we get up to the cloud?" asked Elizabeth.

"Well, I guess I could wish that all four of us could fly." Cloud said.

"But wouldn't the Ruler take away some of your mind?!" Exclaimed Sammy.

"Oh, no, no. The Ruler's powers do not affect us Cloud people." said Cloud.

"Oh, OK..." Sammy and Elizabeth said in unison.

They had finally reached the park.

"I wish Blue Skye, Elizabeth, Sammy, and I could fly!" Cloud wished.

All of a sudden they all started flying! They flew up, up, and up some more.
They flew all the way to the Ruler's Cloud and landed.

"Whew! Flying is tiring!" Sammy exclaimed.

They had stopped flying and started walking towards the Ruler's castle in the middle of the Cloud.

"OK, I know that we are asking a lot of questions, but how are we going to defeat the Ruler, anyway?" Sammy asked.

"Well, we can use my necklace." Blue Skye said.

"My necklace allows us to defeat anything that is evil." She added.

"OK, so, first you tell us that the Ruler's powers don't effect you, then you tell us that you have a special necklace that will allow you to defeat anything, what's next? Are you going to tell us that you can levitate things with your ear?" Sammy exclaimed.

"I am sorry that we have frustrated you with our secrets, but we did not want to tell you to much in case you weren't "The Chosen Ones"." Cloud apologized.

"Oh, OK. I'm sorry that I freaked out like that." Sammy said.

They had reached the Ruler's castle. Blue Skye had taken out her necklace, closed her eyes, and said "Alohamorabopaboopa!". They all transformed into giant indestructable monsters.

"Will we be able to change back?" asked Elizabeth.

"Yes, but now you have the ability to wear this  armor whenever you like." Blue Skye replied.

They tried to fit through the door, but they were to big, so, they climbed through the ceiling and into the Ruler's bedroom. The Ruler was sleeping in his bed. He was a tiny weak man who would be blown away by the smallest wind.

"Wow! He's so small!" Sammy yelled.

"Sssh!" Elizabeth and Cloud said in unison.

Just then the Ruler had waken up.

"Oh, no! We're in big trouble now!" Elizabeth said.

The Ruler hopped out of bed, put on his tiny slippers, and said in a big loud voice "Who are thee! Speak, I command thee!".

"I"m Sammy, this is Elizabeth. That's Cloud and his twin, Blue Skye." Sammy replied in a small and timid voice.

"Well, hello and welcome to my kingdom!" He said. "I am the Ruler of Cloud."

"Are you the Ruler who grants wishes and steals a little bit of your mind?" Sammy asked.

"Oh, no, no. I'm his brother. My brother has been in the Cloud Jail for two years!" said the Ruler.

"Oh!" Cloud exclaimed. "I am sorry Elizabeth and Sammy, we have led you into a trap!" Cloud added evily.

Sammy and Elizabeth ran away screaming, destroying everything in their path. They had to get as far away as possible from those imposters. They ran, and ran, and ran, and ran, and ran some more until they got back to Eliabeth's house.

"That was a close one!" Sammy said.

"Yeah, I know!" Elizabeth replied.

They headed inside and upstairs to Elizabeth's room. They walked into Elizabeth's room to find Blue Skye and Cloud sitting on the floor playing Go Fish.

"Oh, hello!" said Blue Skye. "Where have you been?"  she added.

"Oh, it's a long story!" Elizabeth said.

Elizabeth checked the time, it was 10:00 PM, an hour past her bedtime.

"Well, we have to go to bed!" Elizabeth said. "Good night!" She added.

"Good night!" Cloud and Blue Skye said in unison.

Chapter 3: The Park

                   Chapter three: The Park

"Sammy, what if we accidentaly do make ten wishes? Will we be
gone forever?" Elizabeth asked.

 "Oh, I sure hope not! That would be terrible!" Sammy said.

 Then Sammy got up and started dancing.

"Doo Da Dippity! C'mon!" Sammy sang.

Elizabeth got her iPod out of her backpack and plugged it into her speakers, she put on hers and Sammy's favorite song, "Dental Care" by Owl City. Then she got up and started dancing with Sammy.

"C'mon you guys!" Elizabeth said.

"Dance with us!" Sammy added.

Cloud looked at his sister, it was like they were having a secret conversation in their minds.

"Oh, okay!" Cloud said.

Then they got up and danced with Sammy and Elizabeth. A whole bunch of people crouded around them and started "Oohing" and "Aahing" when they did fancy dance tricks. Elizabeth took off her hat and said

"Listen up people! If you like us, give us some money, if you don't, who are we kidding! You'll love us!" she said.

She gave her hat to the person standing next to her, he started passing it around and everybody was putting one, twenty, and fivedollar bills into Elizabeth's hat.  People started to slowly leave the park. After a while everybody was gone, Sammy, Elizabeth, Cloud,and Blue Skye stopped dancing.

"So, um, Cloud?" Sammy asked. "Are you gonna, like, follow us home?" Sammy added.

"Well, we are supposed to follow you everywhere, to keep you safe, of course." Cloud replied.

"Oh, well, does that mean you have to follow us into the bathroom?" Sammy asked Cloud.

"Well, we are supposed to follow you EVERYWHERE," Cloud said. "But, we can make an exception for you." Cloud added.

"Well that's good..." Sammy said quietly.

As they walked back to Elizabeth's house, things got quieter and quieter.

"Hey, Cloud?" Elizabeth asked.

"Yes, Elizabeth?" Cloud replied.

"Um, never mind." Elizabeth said.

  "Well, actually, um, okay. Well, Cloud, will this "Ruler" come after us?" Elizabeth asked.

"Well, no." Cloud said. "He is forbidden to leave the clouds." He added.

"Oh, OK, that's good..." Elizabeth said.

 They all stopped, they were at Elizabeth's house.

"C'mon, you guys! Come in!" Elizabeth said as she walked to the front door.

They all walked into the hallway, through the "secret passage" and headed into the kitchen.

"Um, maybe we should get you some new clothes..." Sammy said.

"Yeah, I think so." Elizabeth replied. "You guys can stay here, we'll be right
back." Elizabeth said as her and Sammy walked upstairs and into Elizabeth's room.

"Let's see, hoodie? Yeah, my brothers jeans, yup. OK, we've got Cloud, now let's get some clothes for Blue Skye." Elizabeth said.

She got a nice, black, and pink dress and some tights for Blue Skye. They went back downstairs with the clothes and joined Cloud and Blue Skye in the kitchen.

"Here you go, Cloud,and, here you go, Blue Skye." Sammy said.

"Thanks!" Cloud said.

"Um, thank you." Blue Skye whispered.

 Cloud and Blue Skye went into the bathroom to change. After they came back Sammy said "Wow! Blue Skye, you look good! You do, too, Cloud!".

 "Yeah, they actually look normal!" Elizabeth replied.

"Maybe they're not so weird!" Sammy whispered to Elizabeth.

"Well, it's getting kind of late" Sammy said. "I think we should go to bed." Sammy added.

"You can stay in the guest bedroom." Elizabeth said. "It's upstairs, to the left of my bedroom. Good night! " She added.

They all went upstairs, Elizabeth and Sammy to Elizabeth's bedroom, and Cloud  and Blue Skye to the guest bedroom.

Chapter 2: A Whole 'Nother Day

Sammy had a sleepover there after trying to explain to her mom about her mysterious disappearance over the phone.

Elizabeth went  to feed her dog, but she couldn't find him.

"Scruffy, where are you?" she said. BARK, BARK! "Where did that come from?" Elizabeth said as she ran toward the noise.

It was coming from the phone.

"Scruffy, where are you?" she said again.

Then, she heard a bunch of barking from all directions. She looked in her backyard and there were at least a hundred Scruffies! She hurried to Sammy, who was still sleeping in their room, and woke her up. Elizabeth was wearing a  white dress with lace on the top and sparkles on the bottom, over that she was wearing a ruffly white cardigan, and a red and black plaid fedora.

"Sammy! Sammy! There are hundreds of Scruffies outside! Did you notice anything weird last night?" she asked.

Sammy had fallen asleep in her clothes from yesterday, she was wearing a t-shirt that had a panda on it that said "Did you say something? I didn't hear you. I was to busy being awesome!" , a grey hoodie, and a pair of light washed skinny jeans.

"Well, you did wake me up in the middle of the night, you were talking in your sleep saying "Oh, Scruffy! You're the best dog ever! I wish there was a million of you!". So, I just ignored it and went back to sleep." Said Sammy.

"Oh my gosh! I wish I didn't..." Sammy had stopped her in the middle of her sentence.

"Thanks Sammy!" She said. "That was a close one!" She added.

"Elizabeth?" Sammy asked.

"W-What?" Elizabeth replied.

Nobody had called her by her first name since she was six years old! She was so surprised Sammy had called her that!

"Well, what if you had wished that all this never happened? What would happen to me? Would I dissapear? Would Scruffy stay here? Would-" Sammy asked Elizabeth.

Just then the real Scruffy came running in and jumped onto Sammy's lap.

"Oh, Scruffy! There you are!" Sammy said.  "Look Elizabeth, he's back!" She added.

"Oh, I've missed you so much, Scruffy! There's a million of you out in the backyard, but I couldn't find the real you anywhere!" Elizabeth said.

"C'mon Elizabeth, let's take him for a walk." Said Sammy.

"Ok, but we have to feed him first, look at him, he looks so hungry!" Elizabeth said.

They went down stairs to feed Scruffy.

"Here you go Scruffy, enjoy!" Said Sammy.

Elizabeth went into the hallway to find Scruffy's leash. She got the lease and went back into the kitchen. After Scruffy was doneeating Elizabeth picked Scruffy up and put on his leash. Then Elizabeth went up stairs to tell her Mom that they were going to take Scruffy for a walk.

"Come back soon!" Elizabeth's Mom said.

"OK!" Elizabeth said. "Let's go!"

Elizabeth went into her room and got hers and Sammy's backpack, then she walked back downstairs and into the kitchen. They walked out the door and headed towards the park. On their way there they were stopped by a pair of twins, one boy and one girl.  They were both wearing weird clothing, it kind of looked like a kimono.

"Um, Hi... We are trying to go the park with our dog, so, can you let us go?" Sammy said.

"No, I am sorry, but we cannot." The mysterious boy replied. "My name is Cloud and this is my sister, Blue Skye, we are here to help you, we are your gaurdians." The boy said.

"We have to protect you from the Ruler. The Ruler is an evil king, granting everybodys wishes, in return, he steals a little bit of their mind, and after ten wishes, they are gone forever!"  Cloud added.

"Well, it's a good thing we only wished three wishes in all!" Elizabeth said. "I'm Elizabeth and this is my best friend, Samantha, but you can call her Sammy." Elizabeth added.

Elizabeth was wrong, they had made five wishes already.

Chapter 1: Once Upon a Time

Once Upon a Time there was a kid who had a pool filled with tacos.She didn't like tacos, she liked pie. So, she wished upon a cloud that thepool was filled with pie instead of tacos. Then a giant chicken came out and
pecked all the tacos out.

"Well, at least I got half my wish," Elizabeth said.

After that, a robot came and danced a little in the pool, and barfed up enough pie to fill the whole pool. She was so happy that she jumped into the pool and got covered in pie. She wanted to eat it all! So, she made
another wish on a cloud that she could eat all of this pie. All of the sudden she got really hungry and gobbled up the whole pool of pies. After she was done eating she went inside, picked up the phone, and called her best friend, Samantha, people called her Sammy.

Sammy lived in Wisconsin, five states away, so they never really got to see each other.

"I wish Sammy was here!" Elizabeth said.

Then Sammy popped out of nowhere.

"Sammy! I've missed you so much!" She ran over and hugged Sammy.

 "Sammy, quick make a wish upon that cloud over there!" said Elizabeth.

So, Sammy did - she wished that the pool outside was filled with melted chocolate. It was warm like a chocolate hot tub.It was the perfect end to the perfect day! Little did she know, it wasn't over yet.
